This box is assorted with a 2 Kg bag of organic Lemones and the remainder is filled with 9,5 Kg of organic Valencia oranges. Valencia is one of the best known and most often grown varieties of light orange. Its fruits have round shape, slightly flattened at the poles, and light fair orange peel. This orange is mainly used to make juice – due to its high content of juice, the lack of pips, and its flavour qualities. The rind of this orange has least bitterness, therefore it is sought after by the devotees of candied peel or orange marmalades. The trees have fruits of medium size, whose flesh is bright orange, very stringy. The “femminello” lemon from Siracuse blossoms every 40 days, which means the fruits are available all year, with a change in the color of the peel, citrus yellow in the winter, autumn and spring, and greenish in the summer.
